Minio Really moving out of opensource?? alternative can it be seaweedfs

Hi Folks, seems that you too could have heard that minio is getting commercialised , yes it is , with the offering as Aistor , but fear not , your existing setup doesnt really break overnight , its that the new contribution to the project is being held back, its still opensource but no maintainance like it used to be.

so is there any alternative , yes there is seaweedfs , a s3 compatible object store you can find its charts and its code base on github https://github.com/seaweedfs/seaweedfs

and from the about section this info is available “SeaweedFS is a fast distributed storage system for blobs, objects, files, and data lake, for billions of files! Blob store has O(1) disk seek, cloud tiering. Filer supports Cloud Drive, xDC replication, Kubernetes, POSIX FUSE mount, S3 API, S3 Gateway, Hadoop, WebDAV, encryption, Erasure Coding. Enterprise version is at seaweedfs.com.”

they have the enterprise version , but community version is also great , i personally loved it.

so worry not , if there is a problem there will be solution.
